On a client's phone, Sidedoor doesn't appear as an app with a logo. Instead, it's saved as a contact called "Steve Work." When they tap it, the app opens. To anyone casually looking at their phone, it just looks like a regular contact entry.

You can reset your word at any time from your profile settings. Clients who have already connected with you through the old word retain access — they still have your contact. New connections will need the updated word.

No. Clients have zero visibility into other users. They type a word, they get a professional's contact. That's the entirety of the interaction. There's no social layer, no reviews, no profiles.

Sidedoor is a private contact-sharing tool. Whether you can take on private clients depends entirely on your employment contract — specifically whether it contains non-compete or non-solicitation clauses.
